The FlashCamp Italy is back and will take place friday, September 23 in Rimini. The cool news is that this year the main track will be put side by side with two vertical "unconferences" about:
- Mobile development with the Flash Platform
- Open Source: from "forma mentis" to "de iure condendo"
Confirmed speakers so far: Michael Labriola, James Ward, Justin MCLean, Michelle Yaiser, Christian Ferranti, Marco Fusetti (aka jaco@pixeldump), Giorgio Natili. I have to say this is going to be an awesome event! You can find more information and updates here (italian).
For the second year in a row I'll be present at the most interesting mobile developer conference here in Italy, the WHYMCA. And this time the whole Small Screen Design crew will join me! The conference will take place in Milan the 20th-21th May and will cover lots of interesting topics from development to design and user experience.
There will be also a whole Flash Camp about AIR Mobile and Playbook development! Among the Flash Camp speakers there are well known professionals like Mihai Corlan, Andrea Trento and Luca Mezzalira. Ah! Alessandro La Rosa is a speaker too! You can find the agenda and all information about the event here (italian). Stop by and say hi if you'll be there too!

Nokia World and Nokia Developer Summit 2010 event is now over and I need to say that it was a great event! Lots of exciting news and devices were announced during the event, lots of inspiring sessions and great people from all over the world. I finally had the opportunity to meet in person some of the people behind Forum Nokia as well as many other Forum Nokia Champions.

If you want to have a clear view of what happened there, just visit the Nokia World 2010 and Nokia Developer Summit 2010 sites to find webcasts of the keynote presentations.

Finally, take a look at the cool devices announced during the event: S40 Touch and Type Devices and three new Symbian^3 smartphones. You can find some pictures of the event here. Ah, I was forgetting a small thing: Nokia greeted us with a pre-commercial N8-00. Thank you Nokia!
This year The Nokia Developer Summit and Nokia World will take place at ExCeL London, Sept 14-15. Nokia will run both events bringing together people from every part of the global mobile community for an even richer event, with insights into every aspect of the mobile industry.
This is a great opportunity for every mobile developer. I'll attend both events thanks to Forum Nokia! See you there.

(via Mark) - Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, given the huge investments with the Open Screen Project, will be Adobe's most important event in the mobile calendar. There will be a lot of interest for the launch of Flash Player 10.1 and iPhone native apps with Flash and Adobe AIR®. For this reason Adobe is giving away upon request complimentary passes to the Mobile World Congress exhibition halls. The free passes are limited to two per company on a first-come, first-served basis. Send an email to mwcstaff@adobe.com with your name, company name, and email address.
Join us at Mobile World Congress 2010, where Adobe and partners of the Open Screen Project will preview some of the innovations enabled by the Adobe® Flash® Player runtime for smartphones, smartbooks, and netbooks running popular entertainment, gaming, and video websites. In 2010, more devices will come to market supporting Adobe Flash Player and a new class of application known as "contextual applications." Experience firsthand contextual applications from leading brands that adapt presentation and performance to different application contexts — including various operating systems, platforms, and devices — and user personalization.
