Google just announced that over the next two weeks they’ll be rolling out an update to the Android Market improving the Android Market experience for users and developers. This new Market client introduces important features that improve merchandising of applications, streamline the browse-to-purchase experience, and make it easier for developers to distribute their applications.
You can see some screenshots of the new interface above. Don't miss all the new features listed on the Android Developer’s Blog.
Today Google announced the new version of the Android platform — Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It includes many new platform technologies and APIs. Some of the highlights include: Enhancements for game development, rich multimedia, support for front-facing camera, SIP/VOIP, and Near Field Communications (NFC), to let developers include new capabilities in their applications.
Alongside the new platform, Google released updates to the SDK Tools (r8), NDK, and ADT Plugin for Eclipse (8.0.0). For a complete overview of what’s new in the platform, see the Android 2.3 Platform Highlights.
I just published a short tutorial about how to set up, compile and test an AIR for Android project using just Eclipse and FDT without even opening the Flash IDE:
If you own an Android 2.2 (Froyo) device you must know that you can already start building (and testing!) your AIR 2.5 applications for Android. There’s more: if you are an FDT user like me you should be glad to know that is very easy to build and package our AIR4Android applications without even leaving our favorite tool!

I just uploaded a video showing Live Prints in action on my Nexus One. Enjoy!
I'm excited to show you some screenshots of my latest personal project: Live Prints, an Android Live Wallpaper. Simply chose a predefined look (or combine different backgrounds and prints) and watch the prints walking around your home screen and interact with your taps, icons and widgets...
I'll release soon Live Prints on the Android Market, so stay tuned for more news!

Live Prints: "Magic Map".

Live Prints: "Lonely Coyote".

Live Prints: "Scary Handprints".
