This year The Nokia Developer Summit and Nokia World will take place at ExCeL London, Sept 14-15. Nokia will run both events bringing together people from every part of the global mobile community for an even richer event, with insights into every aspect of the mobile industry.

The Nokia N8 is a powerful combination of internet, video, photos, music, maps with Symbian^3 operating system. With a large capacitive touch screen supporting pinch to zoom, social networking integration, a Carl Zeiss 12 megapixel camera with wide-angle lens and Xenon flash, shooting 720p HD video, On Demand WebTV, HDMI connectivity and USB OTG, you can create, discover and share a world of creativity. Additionally, for the software developers, the device includes Qt 4.6.2, Java MIDP 2.1 and Flash Lite 4.0.

Last Friday, Adobe and Condé Nast unveiled a new digital magazine experience based on WIRED magazine at the TED conference in Long Beach, California. Built on Adobe AIR and developed with Condé Nast, the tablet prototype we showed during the TED "Play" session illustrates the possibilities for magazine publishers to reach readers in new ways. Forum Nokia is hosting a interesting two-session webinar about User Experience and Design Resources on January 28th.

Symbian Foundation revealed some details about the new Symbian UI and made available an open discussion to the community for questions, comments, suggestions, requests, and generally anything that relates to this proposal. The corresponding Major Contribution Proposals are Orbit and Direct UI. This simple mockup reminds me something like Android and its homescreen widgets. Let's see what will happen... More info below:
